About Grapevine

Verified Submissions - stories are drawn from community-driven submissions and edited for publication

Grapevine is an independent student publication. We compile the week on campus from community-driven submissions, then review and edit them into a single weekly roundup per campus. Our system is built around safety and protecting identities - no names, no doxxing. Just what the week actually felt like.

How we report

Community-driven submissions, edited for publication

Every item in a Grapevine roundup starts as a submission from a student on that campus. We never publish names, identifying details, or anything that could single someone out. Our system is built around safety and protecting identities, so stories are generalised before they go live.

How we edit

Reviewed and shaped into a weekly edition

Each submission is read and edited before publication. We keep the voice and the detail, cut anything that risks identifying a person, and group submissions into the recurring sections you see in each roundup.

How we protect people

Privacy first, always

Grapevine is a sentiment record, not a court record. Our system is built around safety and protecting identities. If a submission can't be made safe without losing the story, it doesn't run. Anyone featured can request removal at any time.

Have something for next week?

Submissions are moderated before they appear. Read how to send one in, or get in touch about a correction.
